Christian Vision and Values

 Our School Christian Vision

"Let all that you do be done in love" ~ 1 Corinthians 16:14

At Littleton C of E Nursery and Infant School, we believe in the God-given uniqueness of every individual and value them within a loving and inclusive Christian community.

Through our love of God, we are all shaping our school so that each of us can flourish, achieve, develop resilience and contribute to life in all its fullness.

Our school is underpinned by our Christian vision and our three core values through which we explore specific values that deepen our young children’s understanding of our core vision.

Our three core values are:

  • Care for Ourselves
  • Care for Each Other
  • Care for our World

Through our love of God

Living Our Vision

Our vision statement is more than just words on a page—it's how we live and learn together every day at Littleton C Of E Nursery and Infant School. We believe that by nurturing a love of learning within a Christian context, our children develop as confident, compassionate individuals who understand their place in God's world.

When we say "Let all that you do be done in love," we are reminding ourselves that love is at the centre of all our actions and decisions. This biblical teaching guides our approach to education, relationships, and community.

Our Core Values in Action

Care for Ourselves

  • At Littleton, we encourage children to:
  • Recognise their God-given talents and develop them fully
  • Build resilience and perseverance when facing challenges
  • Take pride in their achievements and efforts
  • Make healthy choices for their body, mind and spirit
  • Develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime

Care for Each Other

We demonstrate this value when we:

  • Show kindness, respect and empathy to everyone in our community
  • Celebrate our differences and include everyone
  • Listen to others and value their opinions
  • Forgive others as we have been forgiven
  • Work together and support each other in our learning

Care for our World

We encourage our children to:

  • Respect and protect God's creation
  • Make responsible choices that help our environment
  • Learn about different communities around the world
  • Be thankful for the resources we have
  • Become positive contributors to our local and global community
