Children will be eligible for full time admission to the school in September, at the beginning of the academic year in which they will have their fifth birthday.

According to the capacity of the school, the Published Admission Number for Littleton School is 30.

The Government’s legislation for class sizes stipulates a ratio of one qualified teacher per 30 children.

Applications for a Reception 2025 place opened on 4th November 2024. The closing date for on-time applications is 15th January 2025. Primary school allocations will be issued to parents by Surrey County Council on 16 April 2025. You will need to accept or decline your offer of a school place online by 30th April 2025.

School Admission Appeals Procedures

If you would like to appeal then please visit www.surreycc.gov.uk/schoolappeals and follow the links to find our school where an appeals form will be available for you to submit. If you are appealing for a place, please also ensure that your child has been added to the waiting list for a place at the school.

 Primary Appeals

Appeals for September 2025 resulting from year of entry or transfer applications:

Please note that any admission appeals for a Reception Class place in September 2025 should be lodged with Surrey Admissions by 20th May 2025. Surrey have confirmed that primary school appeals will be heard from May onwards with a target date for all appeals being heard by 22nd July 2025 (40 School days).

NB: Appeals will not start being heard until after the relevant closing date has passed.

Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.
Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing. Appellants will be sent a copy of the school's case 7 clear working days in advance of the hearing.
Appellants must ensure that any further evidence not included with their initial appeal, is received by 5pm on the day notified in the letter with details of the hearing. Any additional evidence or information received after this date might not be considered at the appeal hearing.
