As a Church of England Infant School our mission statement is underpinned by the Christian ethos of our school.  Our three core values are:

  • Care for ourselves
  • Care for each other
  • Care for our world

We are a ‘Learning Community’ and strive at every level of the school to be reflective and committed to improving and growing as a learning organisation. We have high aspirations for all our children both academically and pastorally.
We place great emphasis on ‘learning to learn’ and believe that ‘learning how to learn’ underpins becoming a successful life long learner.
These skills weave through our academic curriculum and enable our children to leave Littleton with the skills that will equip them to succeed in the challenging environment of the 21st century.

We develop our children’s capacity to:

  • Be resilient
  • Be thoughtful and caring
  • Have a positive self-image
  • Be critical thinkers and positive problem solvers
  • Care for their world
  • Understand that learning is a lifelong journey
  • Be creative and reflective learners
  • Enjoy learning!
